True believer Elvis Bragg (John Kenneth Muir) has just one year to prove the existence of the paranormal -- and win back his wife, Season (Alicia Martin), or lose 250,000 dollars and his reputation. Filmmaker Alyssa Jarvis (Kathryn Muir) follows Elvis and his entourage as he takes on the mission of his life, and tries to defeat his nemesis and romantic challenger, Mark Missouri (Chris Martin)
Documentary filmmaker Alyssa Jarvis meets Elvis Bragg's investigative entourage, including "The Professor," Bleeder, and unpaid interns Natalee and Ridley. After learning the details of the Woodpyre Mill Phantom urban legend, Alyssa follows Elvis to Season's house with a breakthrough in the paranormal investigation.
Elvis and Season go to Bleeder's place to watch a disturbing video related to the Woodpyre Mill Phantom from someone named Chesa (Pauline Mae Allera). Mark thinks the video is a hoax, but as Elvis and Mark squabble over the case -- and their relationships with Season -- a disturbing discovery is made that brings the investigation home.
After they discover severed child fingers in a cigar box in Elvis's car, Elvis (JKM), Season (Alicia Martin) and Mark (Chris Martin) are interrogated about the incident by Detective Styles (Breeding-Mercer). Afterwards, Elvis and Season travel to the abandoned Woodpyre Mill to hike to "Linthead's" secret house in the meadow.
The story of the Bullock House expedition is revealed, but Season (Alicia Martin) and Elvis (JKM) have very different ideas of what they witnessed there. Meanwhile, Alyssa (Kathyn Muir) loses funding for her documentary, and a strange surprise lands on Elvis's doorstep.
